Mowing the lawn.

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about Motivation and one about downsizing. this post is a little about both.
I have a good size yard. and I said to self that I was downsizing some of my expenses so that I can afford to pay for training in marketing. So I for the past few years have been paying someone else to mow my lawn. I have been going around trying to find better prices than the $65.00 and $50.00 quotes I have been getting. remember now I am single well I am divorced and my son is away building his career in culinary arts. So I decided that I would do it myself.

The work in my yard

Hard work to clean up, yard work

So I ran to Lowes and bought a lawn mower for $199.00. I figured that if I did it myself I would save a lot of money and in three short months I would have made the cost of the mower back and saved $256.00 plus get a good work out.  Boy am I sore. but I do feel really good inside because I saved the money and I worked out and I am still on my path to learning all I can about working online. In my book or in my own minds eye, I see and feel the steps that I take. They may not be as big as some other want me to make, but I have a really full life to go about and change, and try not to hurt or harm those that still depend heavily on me. Both my kids graduate soon one this month and the other in May.

My motivation is keeping me alive to do all the things that a mother, and a daughter must do to keep things going. Beside them I have a nephew and a cousin that from time to time come looking for help. one is in a funky job the other is trying to get off drugs. These days are hard for a lot of people. but you must have the will to do what is needed and try to mix in  the things that you yourself want to do. I can’t afford the time nor the money to run off to the gym. Mom has seizures, so I need to be around. This is why working from home online is my goal and now a passion. You really have to find the key that will work for you in life. and I do feel the nine to five is not in my soul.

My children are not really at the point to make any money and support themselves. They have to find jobs and work at them for a while. and yes I am telling them to build their own thing but I do understand that sometimes a 9 to 5 job can give you the training you need. but still I say to them work for your self. be your own boss. My daughter is in a MLM and I hope she does will in it. And my son found his passion in cooking, he also has a degree in graphic art. his soul is making others feel good with the food he cooks. So he needs to explore that.and he needs to get the experience by working for others to learn how to manage, and all the other what to do’s in culinary. Working online and learning online is a hard task to do. But I do think it is worth it in the long run. I am 55, I hope that before I get to 60 I can have the joy of working for myself making a living and being able to support my mom and my family an a little snitch for myself. Well I am off now to the tub oh my goodness!! I hurt!

So next post is how to grow a man out of my garden for self. LOL. Now I think that would be very hard to do. A challenge indeed. LOL. Have a great day! Sue
